Hi Everyone
The event will be held in two stages, 11am -1pm will be the formal session, followed by a 'destructured' afternoon which will allow us to let the debate develop (although we will do 20mins on a couple of central themes) I also hope this will set off a lot of positive connections between practitioners who want to get involved in taking the Association forward.
In the afternoon session we'll have a number of very experienced CICs on hand to answer any questions from a multitude of angles.
I cant confirm the final agenda just yet, but provisionally speakers include:
Stephen LLoyd of Bates Wells and Braithwaite
SEC 'Best New Social Enterprise Of The Year' 2009 Bikeworks CIC.
Multi award winning Bricks and Bread CIC
Humantics CIC
Alastair Irvine from Inspirate CIC and Baker Tilly will be doing a short presentation on investment reliefs
Tom Barnett and John Mulkerrin discussing what we've done so far and some of our plans, including awareness plans ,investment proposals, early data trends and the recent changes in the dividend caps (TBC)
Q and A
We also plan to open discussions up on how to improve understanding, awareness and integration thru 2010. Afternoon discussions to include how CIC and Charities can better integrate, and how CIC can help facilitate the delivery of personal budgets in HealthCare. We've got some basic plans but we'll need to organize a little more formally and we're hoping people want to step forward and get involved
Please feel free to suggest topics and also let me know if you would like to contribute to the informal afternoon session.
Please let us now if you'll attend to help planning.
Thanks
