Q1. would depend on what is in your articles, are all the votes equal? If so it would be a yes (assuming you havent got a minimum percentage required to vote that is in excess of what you achieved)

Q2- basically yes, again it all comes down to what you have in your agreement

happy to give an opinion over a pint, but it might be wise to seek legal advice if you are unsure, you can apply for pro-bono assistance by clicking here:

Any chance of advice at the meeting on two pressing issues.

1. Vote at general meeting(roughly 3200 members paying £2/yr) . Members at general meeting 70.

Q. 1.sent question by post to each member and return 600 saying yes 10 saying no. General meeting attendees 55 say yes 15 no. HRACIC has three directors two say no one, the chairman says yes. What is the answer?

Q2. Asset transfer of village hall in negoitiation with DCC. Cabinat have agreed transfer by freehold. Now officers want to mandatory lease back part of the asset transfer land for carparking of daycare centre next door.

Can they enforce this since the area could directly effect our business plan and possible contribute to the failure of earning sufficient revenue.

Advice needed?

Very excited - I am about to apply to set up a CIC - any advice very welcome?
