I wonder if anyone can enlighten me as to whether a CIC needs an official "Secretary" as well as Directors? So far, we've operated with just two directors, who are the only people involved in the enterprise while we are so small. I've trawled through masses of documentation on the companies house site and elsewhere and cannot find the answer!
I'm not au fait with the full law but basically companies don't need Company Secretaries anymore.

Private companies do not have to appoint a secretary unless their articles of association require them to, although they may choose to do so anyway.
