Hi All,
My name is Becky Hurd, I'm 34 years old and I have Parkinson's Disease. Right, now that's out of the way allow me to tell you how having a long term illness has given me even more drive, ambition and motivation to succeed than ever before...
The stark realisation came just recently in July of this year...I could no longer drive the hour long journey to work, work solidly for 9 hours and the drive home again to a busy home life without tiredness desperately trying to take over.
I met with fellow Young Onset Parkinson's Disease sufferer, Andrew Richardson, 42, who was on the verge (at that time) of giving up work as he knew it. After just a couple of conversations we knew that we had a great idea that we could convert into a business whilst raising money for the Cure Parkinson's Trust to fund research to find that cure that we so desperately need.
In August of this year ProDomus Partnership CIC was borne. With 35+ yrs combined commercial experience in the fields of IT and Marketing we are able to provide a myriad of business services as a consultancy to SMEs, the Third Sector and businesses with a Corporate Social Responsibility Charter. But, it doesn't end there. We are building a membership based skills bank of professional individuals like ourselves who no longer fit into the rigid "normal" 9-5 framework and who require flexible working conditions. Together with professional partner organisations to supplant any skills gaps, we are able to offer many more business services and the offering continues to grow.
Our skills bank members work to their strengths and when they can, not when they have to (in accordance with the project deadline). Our clients are receiving professional business services from an incredibly motivated team whilst profits from our CIC go to charity. Its a Win:Win situation.
Do you know anyone who would benefit from our services? Perhaps you know someone who wants to work in a more flexible framework? If so, please visit

Thank you
Becky
