Collaboration amongst CIC across all company types in my opinion can only aid the efforts of individual companies and the benefits to our nations performance. Sustainable, efficient and essentially low cost are key dynamic elements for any serious local and national economies that want to survive and thrive.
The philosophical virtues of not for profit taking community focused enterprise are the foundation of a new bedrock. People and not profit profit based values will establish and support a new level of lean vitality needed to replace the unsustainable self destructive burgeoning present type of cash profit fixated economy.
I feel we all need to collaborate and share experiences and abilities not only as CIC's but also every individual within the community. The wealth and dynamic power every area has is being underutilised to the detriment of the individual and the nation.
I have just registered as a CIC and the future is exciting and expansive with greater challenges and achievements to be made as well as " doing business".
The old maxim united we stand divided we fall. At present we are a minority little understood by the typical business fraternities. Simple supportive open collaboration and promotion of the greater values to our nation and all our people will empower all of us to drive to thrive.
In the West Midlands we can make a massive difference. Even if I can only provide a cup of tea stirred with enthusiastic different views, I will.
Working in the Midlands more frequently now so would be interested in making connections with social enterprises
