I am submitting our first set of accounts and CIC34. Is the social audit put up on the Companies House website or is it just CIC34?

Hi Heidi, Thanks, that's a positive way forward and putting my mind at rest :)

Hi Annette, funders won't be looking at Co Hse to decide if you deserve funding - other than checking you are a going concern and have filed your accounts on time.  The Social Audit Report is better shared on your website or made available to funders when you apply if you can send additional documents.  I can't remember the names of organisations that have added additional information but I know lots have done.  You could add a summary on the CIC34 form and state there's a more detailed Report available via your website and put the link on the form.

Thanks Heidi - I would be interested to see any examples of this on the Companies House website.  All the examples I can find are just CIC34 with no extra reports attached.  I have been told how important it is to sell yourself in these documents, because funders will look there when deciding if you're worth giving money to.  But my accountant says the Social Audit Report won't make it onto the website.  I am therefore wondering whether I should cut and paste the report into the CIC34.

Hi, usually it all gets copied and put on the records. You can attach whatever additional information you desire to the CIC34 form.
