Event Description

Ever wondered what social enterprise is really all about? Come along on September 11th to discover the truth about social enterprise and learn why growing your social impact can grow your profits.

There’ll be three strands of activity to the Festival; •

The Curve: Hear from top-name social enterprise speakers such as Cliff Prior (UnLtd), Nigel Kershaw (Big Issue Invest), Michael Norton (CIVA, Buzzbnk) and David Floyd (Social Spider CIC, Beanbags and Bullsh!t);

The Cube: Attend workshops covering CSR, marketing, getting started, and social outcome measurement;

The Atrium: Browse a social enterprise exhibition featuring local organisations who are willing to share their own experiences.

Thanks to kind sponsorship from the following organisations, tickets to the Festival cost just £20; Norwich City Council, Broadland District Council, Signs Express, Profit is Good, Sapid Designs, The Robert Ashton Organisation, and seb2b.co.uk.

There’ll also be tickets available to our “Lunch with the Speakers” which is being catered for by the King of Hearts Café.

Remember that:

• Never before and probably never again will we be able to attract such big names from, the social enterprise world to Norwich;

• The conference is about debate, not just presentations. The speakers will learn as much from your local experience as you do from them;

• The event is priced to cover costs, not make a profit.

For all of us who attend, the profit will come later!
