Event Description

Workshop tickets available free at

Keynote Speaker announced - Robert Ashton (photo above left).

Quirky and clever, passionate and pragmatic, Robert's a best selling business author, challenging conference speaker, Big Society troubleshooter, social entrepreneur and charity Trustee. As the Barefoot Entrepreneur, he literally walks his talk!

This event is being run by Disability Works CIC and is an opportunity for CICs to display their work and to provide a limited amount of "development workshops" where they can promote their work.

This is an opportunity for the small and big CICs to be seen together in this major venue, The Forum.

This venue has the advantage of being the home of BBC EAST (both BBC Radio Norfolk and BBC East TV programmes are broadcast from The Forum) and the BBC will be invited to join us on the day.

A small charge will be made for exhibitors to help defray some of the costs of this major venue but this will be kept to a very minimal amount.

Adding your organisation at this time to this event doesn't committ you, it just helps us guage interest.

There are no charges for workshops but you must book in advance. Tockets are now available at

Other confirmed speakers at the workshops so far are:

  • Disability Works
  • Buying Group
  • Social Enterprise Norfolk
  • Charity Bank
  • CIC Regulator
  • CIC Association
  • Harris & Harris

All bookings for workshops, are on a first come, first served basis and subject to availability.

Hi Paul,

I'm very interested in this event and was wondering if you could send me some more information about it please including costs etc.

I'm starting up at the moment and am wondering if it might make for an interesting launch platform and whether others might be interested in what HumAnima CIC has to offer.

Many Thanks,
