CIC Association

Serving Community Enterprise

Workshops, training courses, seminars, coaching encounters, e-learning, counselling, all forms of personal and professional development.

I'm a learning & development facilitator and I'm a limited company at the moment, taking advice on becoming a CiC! I've just joined the association.

Would like to have any discussions with members in Scotland who are interested in working with me or in developing something for the sector along these lines.

I'm putting my thinking cap on and considering who might benefit from my help with :

  • putting together a cv
  • practising interview skills
  • writing a winning funding application (been helping a cic friend in Northern Ireland with this recently)
  • presentation skills
  • confidence-building
  • managing a high-performance team
  • situational leadership
  • stress management
  • assertiveness
  • building self-awareness and self-belief
  • building resilience and social skills
  • train the trainer (accelerated learning)
  • coaching skills (coaching for performance)
  • psychosynthesis for personal development

for example.

Not sure whether to convert my existing company, or just start a new CIC. And would love a steer on what programmes to put together for which market, and what sources of funding would be appropriate!
