I am looking for a model set of annual CIC accounts for a small company with no shares. Can anyone help?
I have a lot of expertise in the preparation and independent examination of annual accounts for charities; but I am new to CIC accounts which, I understand, should be more detailed and transparent than ordinary company accounts for the benefit of the stakeholders.

As a business owner you have to make sure you are in control of your finances on a day to day basis, It is no good to wait untill the end of your fianacial year and wait for your accountant to tell you how well your business performed. .

I can imagine the headline may raise a few eyebrows, but with the VAT increase happening today I thought it made sense to raise the issue again and test the validity of such a statement. The legislation is open to any individuals/types of organisation to use to tackle particular issues, but organising information thats useful to particular stakeholder groups such as Charities must surely be encouraged, especially in these challenging times.
