Good day,
How is everything with you, I picked interest on you after going through your short profile and deemed it necessary to write you immediately. I have something very important to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site. Could you please get back to me on my private email(jean.pierre@writeme.com) for the full details?
Have a nice day and God bless you,
jean
Hi Kafa
They should give you small business rate relief in any event, but there are councils who are giving full rate relief to CICs. Its a tough one as many CICs havent got it, we are trying to help develop a better common message for all CICs to hopefully get a better response from Local Authorities, but at the moment it is very much based on individual situations.
Have Gravesham provided this relief to any other CIC? If so you should talk to them, if not you should ask the council to review their policy, if they review it they will have to say they give'll it to some CICs
This debate is last years, but it does list other councils who have granted it http://cicassoc.ning.com/group/localauthorityengagement/forum/topics/discretionary-business-rate
