The Tree Bee Society is an award winning CiC dedicated to protecting wild bumble and honeybee colonies and habitats. We have won best habitat awards for the conservation work we carry out with Bombus Hypnorum (The Tree Bumble Bee) where we offer a non-harmful removal service for bees that are nesting in domestic properties.
This work has now been expanded to include honeybee colonies that have moved into cavity walls and chimneys of domestic properties. Prior to our organisation offering this service to the community both bumble and honeybee colonies were routinely exterminated by pest controllers that previously had no alternative solution. We believe that our work is unique and we only intervene as a last resort to prevent these bees being exterminated. No individual associated with or employed by the organisation are paid and 100% of the funds we receive are reinvested into the organisation to promote the conservation work we provide.
