    We had this problem in Alloa where we trade. The only solution is to have a charity as the parent company. Charities aautomatically qualify for relief and CiCs are at the discretion of the Revenue Services Manager at the Loacal Authority.

    Hi Ian
    spot on! thats one of the particular issues we're trying to tackle. At the moment the existing landscape is a mess, the relevant parties dont have a clear strategy, and even worse their understanding of the opportunity is very low. Please post in the forum, or mail me direct if you want to keep it private, we're looking to build the evidence base and have made some progress, in conjunction with the Regualtor. It will take a concerted effort to get this sorted out, hope to hear from you.
