Serving Community Enterprise

We have a CIC which works with children and young people with emotional wellbeing/mental health issues.  I set up a CIC initially rather than a charity as wasn't able to work into it if it was a charity and I needed to at that time to develop it.  The difficulty we have is that we would like to do some fund raising to be able to offer the children that 'bit extra' which we are not able to use our current funding for - e.g. Christmas party, refreshments, days out/travel costs which are often over and above what we can realistically deliver.

Can anyone please advise me on our options i.e. could we have something like a charity called Friends of LINK or something?

Thanks any advice welcomed

cheers Tina (new member)

Hi John that would be fantastic!  Am only on a mobile tomorrow afternoon though or would you rather wait till I'm near a landline?

Really good to hear your suggestions!

thanks Tina
