Hi Paul

The Articles of Association will describe how the decision making within your CIC works so have a look through that.  It will have the decision making process laid out clearly.

Hi John

We thought as employee/members that any business decisions where discussed among the members and then voted on the passed to the board to make there decision.

Like taking on new business so it can be discussed check it is good business and a good project the reason we became members was because in the past we took on a project that lost us money so we where concerned about our jobs being member/employees should as I understand at least let us give our ideas and expierence

We are totally under the control of the director who has also made themselves a manager member which to me seems like a conflict of interest as they also sit on the board we are confused as to how we stand on decision making which we thought it was members are there to see the cic is run according to the set ctiteria

In what sense Paul?

Employee rights are (for a simplest explanation) exactly the same as they are for normal Ltd companies, Charities etc.

Anything particular?
