I've been chief Exec of quite a large northern charity (DISC) man and boy for over 30 years and just stepped down as I approach 60. Have my own small consultancy. Having managed small set ups within the voluntary sector and a large one (£18.5m turnover) I can turn my hands to most things in the not for profit world but want to focus my work around policy analysis, business development and planning with a strong emphasis on identifying and applying for funding.
One of my clients is considering an appropriate legal form and has mentioned CIC's to me which is why I have joined, as other clients will no doubt raise the question too.
